I've come to accept that all our questions will never be revealed about the many intricacies and backstories of Lost. I've given up wondering why Walt was so important and why Libby was in a mental institution with Hurley and being mad at the dreadfully out of place Jacob/MiB episode from two weeks ago. Achieving this state of not caring will now allow me to enjoy Sunday's finale a little bit more.
Hopefully the show won't cut to black for 45 seconds like The Sopranos or just go nowhere like The X Files, two shows that were great rides but were tainted forever by their terrible finales.
All I'm truly expecting at this point is to see how the two universes converge and play out, and the resolution to the new protector of the island storyline. That's it.
Well okay, that's not it. I will be pissed if there's not some kind of resolution for Rose and Bernard, the two characters that I've said from the beginning are the most compelling ones on the show. And the dog. I want to know what happens to Vincent. We will see how I feel come Monday morning...
